"Tame the Web" creator Dr. Michael Stephens to appear at BPLD

Dr. Michael Stephens, Assistant Professor, Graduate School of Library and Information Science atBatavia_pld Dominican University, will lecture at Batavia Public Library District (BPLD) during National Library Week. The presentation will be held on Thursday, April 17, at 7 p.m. Stephens is the creator of the blog Tame the Web and will discuss The Hyperlinked Library. This program is of special interest to library trustees, managers, and staff. The program is open to all library employees, directors, and trustees. Tickets are required and may be obtained by calling BPLD's reference desk at 630/879-4777. The lecture is co-sponsored by Library Integrated Network Consortium (LINC).
