If you missed him at this year's Reaching Forward conference, or if you've never heard him speak, this is your chance to hear author J.A Konrath. Join your colleagues at the 2nd Annual Scholarship Dinner and Silent Auction on September 19 at The Carlisle in Lombard. Konrath is a huge supporter of libraries and his presentations are very lively.
Publishers Weekly describes J.A. Konrath's work as "a surfeit of gore" while "creating engaging characters, true guffaws and tightly knit subplots." 
The event is sponsored by the DuPage Library System Scholarship Fund. Tickets are $45 each; tables are $450. A Silent Auction will also be held. All proceeds will benefit next year's scholarship winners.
